DANA API MELTER
It can be used as capping wax and wax melter, liquefier, frame meltings and collection of crystallised honey etc.
The DANA api MELTER is made from stainless steel and has well insulated double walls. It has a heating element in the lid and one in the bottom. The heating elements are regulated independently from one another. As a special feature, the melter has a powerful ventilator in the lid that circulates the warm air evenly and quickly and thereby ensures a gentle treatment of the honey.
How to use the melter:
3. Honey will run out first because it has a lower melting point than the wax. When all the honey has run off, the wax can be extracted.
4. The undamaged honey I extracted first followed by the liquified wax.
The honey yield is almost 100% so the DANA api will pay for itself in a matter of months. DANA api is also a multifunctional machine that can be used for keeping honey lukewarm or to melt crystallised honey.

Stainless steel construction with a double walled, insulated vat. Dana api melter has two separately controlled heating elements: One on the bottom and one at the top under the lid. It has a powerful fan built into the lid, which ensures an even and quick distribution of heat in the vat and a smooth extraction of honey from your cappings wax.

How to:
The cappings wax is put on a grill (capacity up to 40 kg/load), and the thermostat is set to approximately 110ºC.
The honey and wax melts simultaneously, but because of its higher density the honey will sink to the bottom, while the wax stays on top.
All you have to do is simply drain the pure undamaged honey first and then the lighter yellow liquid wax.
Do not leave the cappings melter unattended when it is working.
Duration of a melting process:
Depending on the filling and the condition of the wax. With a loose filling with uncapping  wax from young honeycombs approx. 3 - 4 hours.

Dana Api Therma Melter
is a thermostatically controlled stainless steel liquefier. This melter has been designed to melt honey in a gentle, yet efficient way. The melter is positioned on top of the crystallized honey in the container. After only a few hours of operation, the melter will have liquefied even heavily crystallized honey.You can also use the melter to keep your honey at a desired temperature for example before bottling. As you all know, it can sometimes be difficult to get all your honey bottled during the height of the honey season. With the Dana api Melter you can leave your honey unbottled over night without having to worry about undesirable crystallization. Technical data: The melter works at 230V. The thermostat can be freely adjusted to any temperature between 30 degrees C and 85 degrees C or set to an anti-freeze position (F).
